Maternity Hospital Delivery Gowns Q&A
March 1, 2012
I love posting about questions that I receive from my customers, as I am sure that many people have the same questions!
Here is a recent question from Allison about my Maternity Hospital Delivery Gowns.
Hi Lisa,
Could you tell me what material your hospital gowns are made of and whether they’re machine washable?
Hey Allison,
They are 100% cotton. They wash up beautifully! Just remove the sash before washing. Many moms like to wash their gown before taking it to the hospital so that it smells like their favorite fabric softener!
After delivering, soak your gown in oxyclean and hot water overnight, and any stains should disappear! I have mom’s contact me all the time and tell me how much they enjoyed recovering in their gown at home. The snaps at the shoulders made it so convenient for breastfeeding, especially at night!
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks, Lisa
Here is a question from Jody about Baby Slings for older babies:
Hello! I am in the market for a sling and I came across your store. I love your fabric choices but I just want to make sure that the sling will work for us. My daughter is 21 lbs, 29 inches at 7 months old. Do you know the approximate height and weight limit for these? We recently switched to our convertible car seat so I am looking for something that will help me out when I need to run quick errands. Thanks so much for your time!
Hey Jody,
You will love your baby sling for quick errands! This is what I rave about to moms all the time. I could pop my son in and out of his sling straight from the car seat for all my running around. From the post office, to picking up takeout, you will love your baby sling! Parking lots were always my biggest fear with my son, as I knew how easily he could be hit. I loved having him safely at my side in the sling.
Your sling will be small enough to fit in your purse, so you will always have it on hand. My sleek leg padding adds to the comfort for your little girl. The fabric at her knees won’t be cutting into her legs, when you hold her for long periods of time.
Your sling can support up to 35 pounds. The height is not an issue at all, as you will likely carry her in the hip carry most of the time. Here is the instructional video for this carry.

Why don’t you give me your average weight, height and bust size. Then I can tell you the perfect size for you sling.
Thanks, Lisa
